These terms cover the Dirty Seconds mobile app and website. By using either, you agree to them. If you do not agree, do not use the product.
The product
Dirty Seconds is a timed party guessing game. You explain words without saying them while friends guess before the timer ends. Packs of prompts ship with the app. Some packs may be free. Others may be paid.
Age
You must be at least 18 years old to use Dirty Seconds. Some packs are flirty or explicit in tone. Keep play among consenting adults.
License
We give you a personal, non-exclusive license to install and play the app for entertainment. You may not copy, reverse engineer, resell, or redistribute the app, packs, or artwork except as allowed by law or with our written permission.
Purchases
In-app purchases are sold through Apple App Store or Google Play. Their refund and billing rules apply. Unlock status may be restored through the store and our purchase provider when that feature is live.
Content and conduct
- Play for fun. Do not harass people with the prompts.
- Do not use the game to collect or spread real private information about anyone without consent.
- Pack text and art belong to Dirty Seconds or our licensors. Do not scrape or republish them as your own product.
Offline play
Rounds are designed to run offline once packs are on the device. Features that sync content, purchases, or analytics need a network when those features are enabled.
Disclaimer
The app is provided as is. Parties get messy. We are not liable for arguments, embarrassment, spilled drinks, or other outcomes of how you choose to play. To the fullest extent allowed by law, we disclaim warranties of merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose.
Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent allowed by law, Dirty Seconds and Sven Jens are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from use of the app or site. Our total liability for any claim related to the product is limited to the amount you paid us for it in the twelve months before the claim, or zero if you only used free parts.
Changes
We may update the app, packs, and these terms. Continued use after an update means you accept the new terms. The date at the top of this page shows the latest revision.
